We welcome submissions from most genres in most forms: short stories, poems, as well as notes, thoughts, diary entries and other words that have no place elsewhere. Words that may have no business in other literary journals or arts reviews, but words that nevertheless deserve to be heard. One-line poems, streams of thoughts and lucid dreams that have no outlet anywhere other than the pages of people’s personal notebooks. We love ‘misfit lit’.











Submissions


The best way to see if your work is suitable is to read through our back issues and take a look at our upcoming issues. We encourage simultaneous submissions; submissions (including pictures and artwork) should be sent through our online submissions manager. We now use Submishmash to manage all of our submissions. We apologize if this presents an inconvenience, but it’s the only way we can responsibly manage all of the submissions that we receive.

Issue #7 Update

After an overwhelming response, issue #7, 'Paper Plane Poems/ Paper Plane Prose', was launched throughout the Spring and Summer of 2012. The print issue will be with us shortly (October), featuring the poems and flash fiction that was launched and left around the world by our team of volunteers. There will only be a limited print run so pre-order your copy now.
